The Last of the Holidays

Another weekend come and gone. At least it was a good one!

Despite the below zero temperatures, we ventured downtown not once, but twice on Saturday.

Our first trip down to the Burg was to meet up with some friends at the Wintergarden.

This weekend is the last weekend that the holiday decorations are up downtown, so we wanted to catch them before they were gone. The Wintergarden was basically empty (and parking was a breeze), so we had the place to ourselves. It’s a nice escape from the cool temps if you ever need a place to warm up.

After the Wintergarden, we grabbed lunch in Market square at Pizzaiolo Primo. We had a nice time catching up and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back! Pizza Bianca pictured below 🙂

A few hours later we met Scott’s family at Phipps Conservatory. Every year during the holidays, Phipps hosts their Winter Flower and Garden show. It’s beautiful and smells amazing! This is only my second year attending, but I hope to make it an annual trip.

Sunday was lowkey- just a trip to the mall, a long overdue visit to Sam’s Club and buying about ten things from Target that I didn’t need, but what can ya do 🙂

Well, That’s all for now.
