Not only did I have braces, but I wear glasses EVERY.SINGLE.DAY.
Back in the day, I was so embarrassed of my glasses. I even purposefully broke a pair in the sixth grade so I wouldn’t have to wear them lol!
Now, I love to get new frames! My eye doctor definitely has some face-flattering options, but geez oh man are they pricey!
Scott’s Warby Parker frames that I got him for Christmas last year!
I tried Warby back when I was in law school. I used to wear thick framed Ray-Bans, but I wanted something more feminine. Warby definitely delivered. The lenses were so clear compared to my Ray-Bans that it almost felt like a new prescription.
Scott and I both agree that Warby provides quality glasses at reasonable prices-$95. They recently opened a retail location in East Liberty that I can’t wait to check out.
My current pair from Warby, but I also like these!
Fast forward a few years, I’m still wearing my Warby’s but I wanted to add a funkier pair of glasses to my collection. I didn’t quite want to commit to another $95 pair, but I wanted a change. Enter, Eye Buy Direct. They offer very inexpensive fashionable frames. I picked up a pair for under $25 including lenses!!!!
^ OMG, Wilson’s tongue!
I get compliments on my Eye Buy Direct glasses all the time! I would suggest using this site if you want to try something new, but don’t want to spend a lot of money.
So this isn’t much of a comparison, but rather I wanted to share my experiences with purchasing eyeglasses online.
Well, that’s all for now.
